Children's Play
| Ashley Godfrey Associates has been working with the Children’s Play Council since September 2005 on the development of Performance Indicators for Children’s Play. The indicators seek to demonstrate the extent to which local authorities are providing children and young people with good, inclusive and accessible free local play spaces, services and facilities. We are now piloting these indicators with six local authorities in various locations across England. |

Ashley Godfrey was a member of the advisory group for the preparation of Planning for Play, the Play England guidance for the preparation of Play Strategies. We are therefore able to support local authorities in their preparation of a play strategy in order to secure their share of the Big Lottery Fund £124m children’s play programme. To receive the funds allocated, each must develop a play strategy.
