Business planning is a key component of the strategy process for many projects. We have the skills to provide the analysis, forecasting and modelling required to produce a sound business case.

Projects include:

Playing Pitch Strategies

Whilst with Sport England, Ashley Godfrey was the project leader for the development of ‘Towards A Level Playing Field’, the standard guidance for the preparation of playing pitch strategies. He has since completed a number of studies for both local authorities and developers.

Our approach examines current and future demand for playing pitches from local community teams and identifies latent demand. Team Generation Rates (TGRs) for each of the pitch sports are used to identify current levels of participation at junior and senior levels, and to demonstrate likely levels of future participation. We will audit the supply of pitches and assess the quality of pitches using our own refined version of the Visual Quality Assessment. Using Sport England’s Playing Pitch Model we will assess the adequacy of pitch provision to meet local demand both now and in the future. We will use the results to develop a strategy identifying short, medium and long term priorities. We can you to secure external funding to support new, and enhance existing pitch provision.
